A £750 million train station redevelopment project delivered by Mace has won prizes at two different industry awards ceremonies.
The Birmingham New Street Station development won the 'Outstanding Large Project' category at Rail Exec Club's Most Interesting Awards.
In addition, the project received the 'Best Regeneration Project' prize at Insider's West Midlands property awards.
Network Rail selected Mace as the principal contractor for the project, which involved developing the stations concourse to over five times its original size.
Martyn Woodhouse, Operations Director at Mace, said: "We knew that Birmingham New Street Station would be an impressive development from the get-go but now that it's complete and open to the public, it's great to receive industry recognition."
