Galliford Try's Partnerships business has secured two new 'affordable' housing contracts and two new major housing frameworks.

The business is to deliver an eighth extra care village at Hughenden Valley in High Wycombe in collaboration with the ExtraCare Charitable Trust.

The £45m village is to contain 260 one and two-bedroom apartments located around centralised health and leisure facilities, with landscaped gardens.

Partnerships has also been chosen to develop a 116-home development at Jarvis Road in Birmingham.

The £16m scheme is being built for Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust.

In addition, the business has been appointed to two frameworks; North Yorkshire County Council's Extra Care Housing Programme Framework and Hyde Housing Group Main Contractor Framework Agreement.

The first framework is valued up to £650m over a six year period, with a four-year extension and features six named contractors.

The overall Hyde framework is anticipated to be worth up to £1bn, with Partnerships selected for five out of the eight lots available.

Peter Truscott, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said: "Our Partnerships business is rapidly turning into a real success story and these latest contracts demonstrate the trust that clients have in Partnerships to deliver the homes they need across a range of different housing types and tenures."
