Vinci Construction UK has been awarded a £22.5 million contract to develop a new facility at a college in East Sussex.
The firm will build a four-storey sport and teaching facility at Eastbourne College.
The development will include a 25 metre pool, a sports hall, dining facilities and will link to the new three-storey, 32-classroom block.
The new sports pavilion will provide views over the college's cricket and rugby fields, with the development landscaping complementing the listed flint boundary walls and facades.
In addition, Vinci will use 'alternative methods' to develop the facility, such as using Silka large format blocks to the classroom block to provide cost and programme benefits.
Construction is due to begin this month and is planned to be completed in autumn 2017.
