Social housing contractor Lakehouse has acquired Aaron Heating Services for £6.7 million.
Aaron is a heating services/installations company, providing services primarily for Housing Associations and Council's in East Anglia and the surrounding regions.
Founded in 1985 and based in Ipswich, the firm has 390 employees, of which two thirds are in the engineering sector.
Lakehouse said the purchase will allow the company to 'extend its geographic footprint' in the gas servicing and maintenance market.
As a result of the acquisition, Aaron's Managing Director David Lummis, Commercial Director Jon Posey and its current management team will remain with the business.
