A Leeds-based woodworking firm has been fined after stacks of boards fell onto two workers, injuring both of them.
Spa Laminates, of Pepper Road, Leeds, pleaded guilty to breaching Section 2(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
It was fined £8,000 with over £7,400 in costs.
Leeds Magistrates' Court heard how a fork-lift truck was being used during a lifting operation in August 2012.
It hit a stack of boards, which knocked over one worker, who then fell onto a second stack, which fell on a second worker.
One employee broke both his legs in the incident.
