Bouygues To Deliver £120m Cambridge Exam Board HQ

Bouygues UK has been awarded a £120m contract to develop a new exam board headquarters for Cambridge University.

The new HQ for Cambridge Assessment was designed by Eric Parry Architects and is to be located on a brownfield site previously occupied by Cambridge University Press.

The 2.5 hectare site previously contained two warehouses and an office building, which have been demolished to make way for the construction of two new five-storey office blocks and a 39-metre tower.

In addition, the building's are to be connected by a main courtyard.

Developed using the latest Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology, the project is expected to be handed over in September 2017.

Madani Sow, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bouygues UK, said: "We're looking forward to working with Cambridge Assessment to build their new headquarters, supporting their expansion as they welcome an increasing number of students from all over the world."
