House builder Story Homes has appointed Ian Worgan as Managing Director of its North East division.

Mr Worgan, who joined from Taylor Wimpey, will oversee Story Homes' growth in the North East region from its Newcastle head office.


He began working as Finance Director for Taylor Wimpey in 2003, operating for a period as Regional General Manager.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr Worgan said: "I am thrilled to be joining such a vibrant and growing company and I look forward to my role developing the business in the North East.

"The role will see me help to build the North East region for Story Homes and to recruit the staff to grow the business."
