Former Crossrail designer Stuart Croucher has joined Mott MacDonald as a technical director for urban design.
Mr Croucher will develop the consultancy's streetscape design and urban design capabilities/services for clients.
He joins Mott MacDonald from Crossrail where he worked for the past six years as lead urban designer.
He produced and delivered a series of urban realm design proposals for areas around Crossrail stations.
Prior to Crossrail, Mr Croucher spent two years at Urban Initiatives, carrying out streetscape design and transport planning projects.
Mott MacDonald's head of surface access transport, Peter Crane, said: "Stuart is an excellent addition to our transport planning team. He brings a significant skillset that will enhance the design element of our projects while embedding it into all aspects of transport planning."
