Highways England is to close a slip road on the M56 motorway later this month.
The closure is part of construction work on a new £192m A556 link road between the M56 and M6.
The first closure at junction 8 will take place overnight on 18 September between 9pm and 6am.
The junction will then close again on 21 September for around four weeks.
Work on the new link road began in November and is planned to open early in 2017.
The month long closure of junction 8 is for work to refurbish the Chester Road bridge, which carries the A556 and start of the slip road over the motorway.
Jonathan Stokes, Project Manager at Highways England, said: "These are scheduled closures for key elements of the improvements we are making to the existing northern section of the A556 to accommodate the new dual carriageway."
Diversions will be in place.
