Construction company Seddon has been selected to carry out improvement and extension work to Bradford Metropolitan District Council's existing primary and secondary schools.
The work, worth up to £4 million, is part of the Council's schools framework.
The three year Building Works in Live Education Environments framework may also see the release of new build contracts as well as improvements to the city's further education facilities.
Seddon has also secured a £500,000 contract from the University of Leeds to refurbish all the bathrooms in the Dobree building of Charles Morris Hall.
During the 12-week project Seddon will renovate around 80 en-suite rooms to greatly improve the facilities at one of the University's campus residences.
