Highways England has announced overnight resurfacing work is scheduled for the A19 carriageway.
The work will improve the road surface of the A19 northbound carriageway in Billingham, Cleveland.
The roadworks, which also includes essential concrete repairs, will take place from 1 September to 4 September between 8pm and 6am.
Highways England's Project Manager, Kyle Maylard, said: "We are carrying out this improvement work at night to minimise disruption to road users. It's essential that the work takes place so that drivers can benefit from safer journeys.
"Clearly signed diversions will be in place during the closures. The diversion route is via the A1027, Wolviston Road and A689 to rejoin the A19 at the A19/A689 interchange."
