Stepnell has announced the appointment of Rob Speirs as Regional Director to develop its business across Dorset and the southwest.

Mr Speirs joins Stepnell from Feltham Construction where he was Construction Director.

He will be the new Regional Director for Stepnell's Poole-based operations.

Prior to Feltham, he was Regional Construction Director for JB Leadbitter & Co.

Stepnell currently employs around 60 people in the region, with current construction projects including a £1.2m building refurbishment programme for the Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital and a £1.7m building extension at Winton Primary School, Bournemouth.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr Speirs said: "Stepnell is entering an exciting new phase of growth in the region and I'm delighted to have the opportunity and challenge of leading the business and a talented construction team at this exciting time in its development."
