Highways England has announced it will spend £166,000 on repairs to the M55 later this month.
Wear and tear repairs to the westbound carriageway surface between junctions 3 and 4 will be carried out in five nights of work between 17 August and 21 August.
Highways England project manager Peter Gee said: "All the work is being done overnight and we don't anticipate any delays for motorway users.
"As well as resurfacing sections of the carriageway we’ll be renewing road markings and road studs."
The work will take place between 8pm and 5am each nights, with two lanes of the three lane westbound carriageway closed at a time.
Work on 17 August is near the junction 3 entry slip road.
This will need to close for the night work, with drivers able to use the eastbound slip road to travel down to junction 1 and join the westbound carriageway from there.
