Mineral resources company Francis Flower has announce the acquisition of the Scunthorpe Ground Ganulated Blastfurnace Slag (GGBS) facility from Hanson Cement.
GGBS is an environmentally friendly low CO2 cement produced from a by-product of the steel industry.
The business is capable of producing over half a million tonnes of GGBS every year, supplying customers in the Midlands and North of England.
