Its official! DCM Surfaces have joined forces after owners purchased well known tarmacadam company, H Compsty & Sons Ltd. With everything official the decision has been made to rebrand the company to give it a fresh appeal and a new lease of life.
H Compsty & Sons Ltd has now been rebranded and therefore renamed, the company will now be known as Macadamize Ltd.
Established since 1952, it is safe to say there is a lot of history that the company has and a lot of experience within the tarmac industry. Over the years they have serviced a number of councils, schools, contractors, construction companies, NHS as well as fulfilling a number of road surfacing requirements.
The idea now is to really push this as a company, our current owner Steven Roby has a vast amount of experience within the tarmac industry and has invaluable knowledge of the process, ground works & drainage and surface treatments. This combined with a highly skilled workforce and top quality machinery and tools will make for something really successful we hope.
Located originally in Bolton, H Compsty & Son Ltd were moved to our premises based on Moss Industrial Estate, Leigh following the purchase. Since then we have made great progress, all the original staff remain aside from the owners and we have modernised some of the processes to ensure smooth running and obviously rebranded them, giving them a new name – Macadamize Ltd. This hasn’t been the only big change though, obviously with the new name comes the requirement for a brand new logo.
Originally H Compsty & Son Ltd featured an orange and black logo but to keep them in line with DCM Surfaces we have changed their colours to red and black like ours and have completely redesigned the logo. It is bold, strong and hopefully represents the values which we pride ourselves on.
In addition to investing in the clerical aspect of the new business, Macadamize and its day to day running we have also purchased a brand new paver machine and numerous other tools which will make our installers job a lot easier, costs cheaper for the customer and will ensure all tarmacadam surfaces are of superior quality and laid to perfection.
We are really looking forward to what the future holds for us with this! We will continuously strive to provide our customers with top levels of service and we will always go that extra mile!
If you have any requirements for tarmacadam surfacing then please speak to us directly and we will be more than happy to discuss this further.
