Frese has been awarded a contract to deliver work for the Imperial College London on its Imperial West scheme.

The project is a multimillion pound new campus which will co-locate researchers, businesses and entrepreneurs to the centre of London.

Frese will supply energy efficient valves for two new educational research and translation buildings on the scheme, which also includes a 13-storey hotel.

The company was appointed by contractor Crown House Technologies to supply energy saving valves.

They will be utilised in the buildings hot water heating systems, for chilled water plate heat exchangers and for the air handling units.

The pressure independent flow and temperature control can lead up to a 50% saving on the energy a circulating pump consumes and a reduction on building's energy bills.
