Birmingham City Council has extended Morgan Sindall's position as contractor on the Constructing West Midlands framework.
In a consortium with its sister company Lovell known as Community Solutions, Morgan Sindall has had its role on Lot 7 of the framework extended by a further two years.
The works cover two major capital projects with a value of excess of £500,000.
Community Solutions was appointed in September 2011 for a four year period to deliver approximately 50 projects through the framework with a combined estimated value of over £120 million.
These include the £5.5 million Old Square Shopping Centre in Walsall completed in 2014 and the £5.6 million Perry Beeches IV free school, which was awarded in 2013.
Current work in progress amounts to approximately £80 million.
Central to the framework extension has been a new project delivery agreement with the framework managers, the council's design and contract delivery partner Acivico.
Morgan Sindall’s Area Director for the Midlands region, Richard Fielding, said: "This extension represents a significant achievement for the consortium which is built on a record of delivery, partnership working and honest communication."
