A development by BAM Construction has received an accolade at an industry awards ceremony in London.
The upgraded £18 million facility at Park Community School in Havant was awarded the Gold Award from the Considerate Contractors Scheme (CCS).
It is the second time BAM has received the accolade.
Works on the community school included demolishing classrooms, refurbishing and building teaching facilities along with landscaping.
Rick Barot, BAM Project Manager said: "With every construction project, there are technical or logistical challenges, and problems to solve."
"On top of that, however, is the positive attitude we bring to our work – whether we use the build programme as a broader opportunity to assist a community and a client with learning opportunities for example.
"I’m very proud that our BAM team has been recognised in this way."
The ceremony took place on 28 May.
