The joint venture (JV) between Enisca and J Browne Construction has been awarded a double contract by South East Water.

The Enisca Browne JV has secured the AMP6 Non Infrastructure Intermediate Capital Works and Minor Capital Works contracts.

Following a procurement process, the JV will deliver a range of improvements to the water company's 2.1 million customers under its business plan for 2015-2020.

Works include refurbishing a number of water treatment works and pumping stations and developing new contact tanks and boreholes.

The contract also involves providing non infrastructure maintenance services across South East Water's region including Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire and Sussex.

The deal began in April 2015 and will run until March 2020, with an option to extend for a further ten years.
