O'Brien Sports has been awarded a contract to develop a 3G pitch in Worthing.
The pitch construction specialists will build and install a new 60mm ACT Global 3G Synthetic Grass pitch for Worthing FC.
The project involves converting the main natural turf pitch into an all-weather surface that meets the requirements of the FIFA quality concept.
Works include drainage, kerbs and a dynamic aggregate sub base.
The installation of the pitch can cost between £300,000 to £500,000 and take up to 12 weeks to complete.
Steve Hillman, General Manager of Worthing FC, said: "Worthing FC has an historic footballing pedigree and we are absolutely delighted our sports pitch credentials have lived up to the high standards they were seeking from a partner."
O'Brien Sports has recently completed an Olympic-standard eight lane athletics track along with a football club complete with 11 turf pitches and changing facilities.
