Architect company Purcell has announced the acquisition of S T Walker & Duckham.
Purcell stated purchasing the Worcester-based architects would increase the company's presence in the West Midlands, strengthening the firm's 'legacy in heritage architecture'.
S T Walker & Duckham is known for its conservation work with clients including the National Trust, English Heritage and local authorities.
The company is currently leading a major roofing scheme at Attingham Park near Shrewsbury.
Purcell said they will maintain S T Walker & Duckham's client base.
David Duckham, Partner, said: "We collaborated with Purcell last year on business development initiatives, which proved beneficial on projects for Weston Park and Historic Royal Parks.
"This acquisition is a natural progression of our ongoing working relationship.
"My team and I are very excited about the opportunities that this partnership opens up for us."
CEO of Purcell, Mark Goldsprink, said: "Combining S T Walker & Duckham’s conservation expertise and local intelligence with our own means that our clients benefit from a broader skills base that they can tap into."
