Lovell has be appointed to develop new homes in Norfolk.

The agreement will see the company build approximately 600 houses with a potential value of up to £80 million in the King's Lynn area.

Development at the site will take place over the next five years.

A planning application has been submitted this week for 130 properties at Marsh Lane to form the first stage of new housing.

Development of the two, three and four bedroom properties will begin later this year, subject to planning approval.

Marsh Lane is one of five sites included in the council's Major Housing Project, which will deliver much-needed new housing and infrastructure improvements.

Lovell's Regional Director Simon Medler said: "We’re delighted to be working with the local community and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk on this major housing programme which will provide much-needed affordable homes and homes for sale locally."
