Laing O'Rourke, FCC Construcción and Murphy have formed a joint venture (JV) to bid for future HS2 contracts.

The LFM JV aims to bid for work on the HS2 high-speed rail scheme, one of England's largest strategic infrastructure projects.

It is understood the tendering process for £900 million of enabling works began recently, with work packages covering the North, Central and South areas of HS2 Phase 1.

Laing O'Rourke and Murphy will target the enabling works contracts on the project and FCC will join the team to compete for the main Tier One packages.
