The Eco World Ballymore joint venture (JV) has launched the second phase of its London City Island development.

The next stage of works comprises of 417 new homes ranging from suites to one, two, three and four bed units across two blocks.

The 'mini Manhattan' includes a 260ft bridge linking the island to Canning Town.

The 12 acre neighbourhood contains restaurants, shops and spaces to display public art, design installations and host ad-hoc creative performances.

Residents also have access to The City Island Arts Club, a private club with a screening room, gym, concierge service and swimming pool.

The Eco World JV is formed between Malaysia developer Eco World and London planner Ballymore.

The JV has also formed a partnership with the English National Ballet, which will see the institution relocate to the London development.
