An expansion project for Hambleside Danelaw is underway in Northamptonshire.
The new 30,000 sq ft facility is being developed by Clegg Construction for Hambleside's Long March headquarters.
The project will accommodate a new production line for glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) rooflights.
The project is being carried out in partnership with Daventry District Council (DDC).
The council has invested over £3 million of capital funding and will lease the completed facility to Hambleside Danelaw.
Chris Avery, Hambleside's Managing Director said: "We’re proud to be based in Daventry, and this new facility, close to our core markets, will allow us to reduce lead times, improve logistics and further improve customer service.
"After the recent downturn in the construction sector we think there’s real cause for optimism again.
"This investment reflects that and we’re really pleased to be able to get work underway."
