Charterpoint Senior Living has secured planning permission for an assisted living scheme in Nottingham.
The 58 apartment project is located in the suburb of West Bridgford and will be built by McCarthy and Stone.
The development will feature 32 one bedroom and 26 two bedroom retirement apartments for people over 70-years-old.
Facilities include a table service restaurant, a homeowners' lounge, a lift and flexible care packages.
Director at Charterpoint, Giles Nursey, said: "I am delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing planning permission from Rushcliffe Borough Council for this assisted living scheme.
"The development has been attractively and sympathetically designed to create high quality accommodation for those over 70, helping older people stay independent for longer."
