Bowmer & Kirkland (B&K) has announced work is underway on the redevelopment of a school in Nottinghamshire.
The £10 million rebuild of the three storey South Nottinghamshire Academy is being delivered through the Education Funding Agency's Priority School Building programme.
The development is part of B&K's appointment to the Government's four year National Framework to deliver new schools, academies and free schools.
New buildings will replace existing facilities and offer specialist teaching areas, a spacious learning resource centre, a main hall with bleacher seating, dance and fitness studios and a central dining room.
B&K will also refurbish the artificial floodlit pitch, tennis courts and the sports hall.
Academy Head, Dan Philpotts, said: "I am delighted that we will have a new school building our community can be proud of and an amazing facility for our students."
B&K has so far been appointed to 22 Design and Build contracts totalling £175 million.
