Planning application has been submitted by intu Group for the redevelopment of its shopping centre site in Milton Keynes.
The company has submitted proposals designed by 3DReid architects to the council for the Midsummer Boulevard and Oak Court site.
Plans include redeveloping the 430,000 sq ft shopping centre by a further 100,000 sq ft.
A new two level dining quarter along with a five-screen cinema will be developed, along with new landscaped areas and improvements to the public realm.
Martin Breedan, Director of intu, said: "Oak Court and the boulevard are busy thoroughfares but not great pieces of public space.
"These proposals will create outstanding areas overlooked by prime, flagship retail stores and the best catering quarter in Milton Keynes."
The proposed work its part of intu's £1.3 billion development pipeline in the UK over the next ten years.
