Pochin Construction has completed a new £17 million hospital in Manchester.
The 75,000 sq ft build and fit-out project was developed on behalf of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and includes a dedicated haemodialysis unit.
Working in partnership with Citybranch, the new hospital will replace Altincham's existing hospital.
Bob Nicholson, Development Director of Pochin, said: "This is an extremely exciting time for Altrincham as the area undergoes significant regeneration, and this new facility will play an integral part in supporting further developments."
The University's NHS Foundation Trust Chairman, Steve Mycio, said: "We are delighted that our plans to create a new state-of-the-art community hospital for Altrincham have finally come to fruition.
"This development will provide an expanded range of general and specialist health services in a modern, high quality healthcare environment."
Adam Gross, director at Citybranch, said: "We're extremely pleased with the final outcome of this project, which will deliver a vital boost to healthcare services in Trafford."
