A Vinci and Bouygues Construction joint venture (JV) has been awarded a contract worth over €250 million by Egyptian authorities.
Development plans are to build an extension of metro system on Line Three in Cairo.
Phase 4A of works will involve developing 5.15km of metro tunnel and five underground stations across the Egyptian capital.
The JV aims to complete the project in just under three years and will employ approximately 3,200 people.
