JCB has donated diggers and electrical power generators worth $1 million to the earthquake relief effort in Nepal.
Ten backhoe loaders were made available immediately to the Nepalese Army through JCB's Nepal dealer MAW Enterprises.
The electrical generators are currently on their way from a JCB factory in Delhi.
The newly donated machines will be used in reconstruction efforts.
JCB Chairman Lord Bramford said: "It is shocking to see the devastation caused by this earthquake and the resulting widespread damage and destruction.
"On behalf of JCB, I express my heartfelt condolences to everyone affected by this natural disaster. JCB will continue to help the Nepalese Government in every possible way."
