Masco Window Group has been fined £10,000 after a worker severed his fingers and hand while using a chop saw.
The firm was also ordered to pay costs of £2940.
The worker cut off four fingers and severed most of his right hand in March 2013.
He was cutting down thermal plastic inserts for window frames, however due to lack of training he placed his hand close to the chop saw while wearing gloves and arm protectors.
The window manufacturing firm pleaded guilty to breaching Section 2(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
