SPIE has announced the merger of six Northern office teams into the 8,500m2 Venus Building at Manchester's Trafford Quays.

The company said that by joining the teams it allows them to capitalise on their synergies and to "work in closer collaboration that ever before".

The SPIE team will occupy the first floor of the Venus building which was developed by Peel Holdings.

The team will also occupy half of the ground floor. The offices have been fitted with new furniture, IT facilities and services.

Paul Chappels, Head of Asset Management at Peel, said: "SPIE is an excellent company to have as a tenant in our property portfolio and a great addition to our existing line-up of occupiers, one we envisage we will work with on projects going forward."
