The Director of Hamtech Electrical Services has been fined £12,500 after the death of a 21 year old worker on a construction site in July 2011.
Mark Hammond pleaded guilty to breaching Section 3 (1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, after the worker was electrocuted while carrying out works in a communication room in a basement on a site at Great Peter Street, London.
The defence was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of almost £50,000.
