Distribution Centre To Be Built At Regeneration Site

Henry Boots Development has been contracted to build a 479,285 square foot distribution centre for a development site at Markham Vale, Derbyshire.

A £14.2 million Government grant awarded through the Sheffield City Region's Enterprise Zone has allowed the final phase of works to take place. It is understood a further 100 acres are currently being prepared for development.

Great Bear Distribution has agreed to move into the regeneration site on its completion in spring 2016

It is predicted up to 400 jobs will be created.

Ben Ward at Henry Boots Developments said: "We are delighted to secure such a ground-breaking deal with Great Bear Distribution."
