Wates and Willmott Dixon have been appointed as contractors on a London construction framework agreement worth approximately £1 billion per year.
The London Construction Programme (LCP) Major Works Construction Framework Agreement is led by Haringey Council and covers five sub-regions across London. It is expected to run until April 2019.
The £1 billion estimate is expected to involve major construction works across education, leisure, care, health and housing.
Projects that can be tendered through the framework range between £100,000 to £999,999, £1 million to £4.99 million and £5 million plus, with separate lots in each band for housing and education.
Wates' Head of Government Sector, Andrew Riggs, said: "Frameworks are an ever-increasing opportunity for public sector organisations to make possible essential building works via efficient procurement routes."
