Greencells Completes Solar Plant Project

Greencells Group in collaboration with Huawei has completed the construction of five solar plants in the UK, with a capacity of 62.5MWp and powering approximately 20,000 homes in the surrounding regions.

The solar facilities were built as an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) provider.

Over 2,200 of Huawei's string inverters were deployed on the project. The plants were connected to the National Grid at the end of March.

CEO of Greencells GmbH, Andreas Hoffmann, said: "We are very pleased to have completed these projects in the UK with the help of innovative products from Huawei."

Guoguang Chen, General Manager of Huawei Smart PV Solution Europe added: "Huawei is very happy to have worked with Greencells to successfully deliver these projects."
