Graham Construction has been awarded a contract with the University of Manchester to refurbish 72 student bedrooms in Greenwood Block by September 2015.

The project is to start in June 2015.

Comprising of seven residential blocks, Greenwood forms part of the Hulme Hall Residential Campus, the oldest being Houldsworth which was built in 1907.

Refurbishment work will include kitchen and bathroom installations, mechanical and electrical services, along with new furniture and finishings. Furthermore, window replacements and asbestos removal will be carried out, as well as stone and brick repairs.
