UK property firm Savills has been instructed as the managing agent, joint retail leasing agent and professional services advisor at Willow Place and Corby Town Shopping Centre in Northamptonshire.

The move follows the scheme's acquisition by Europa Capital Partners and Sovereign Land for £71.7m earlier this year, reflecting an initial yield of 7.25%.

The 702,355 sq ft (65,251 sq m) scheme encompasses the whole of Corby town centre’s retail area, including Willow Place, Corporation Street and Oasis Retail Park. It also incorporates 146 retail units including Primark, TK Maxx, H&M, River Island and New Look.

Steve Henderson, retail director at Savills, said: "We are pleased to be continuing our involvement with Corby after several years acting as the retail leasing agent for its previous owner. The town’s retail offer continues to go from strength to strength, with 14 new lettings and seven lease renewals completed over the last 15 months."
