London Underground (LU) has announced it has extended its contract with Interserve, to deliver facilities services across 12 depots and 168 stations.
The contract, which has been extended for two years, includes specialist cleaning of stations and trains, waste management, pest control, station security and vegetation management as well as asset management and carriage refurbishment.
Wayne Goldsmith, director for transport at Interserve, said: "Creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment for passengers, visitors and employees alike is at the core of our service delivery; especially when working in a 24/7 live environment."
