Plans Approved For New Distribution Unit In Normanton

Wakefield Council has approved plans for a new distribution unit to be developed.

The 6-acre development in Normanton, the Tri-Link140 LLP, is a joint venture between Yorvale, Kier Property and Maple Grove Developments, part of the Eric Wright Group.

The two-storey, 142,000 sq ft unit comprises 135,000 sq ft of warehouse space and 7,000 sq ft of office accommodation. It will accommodate 160 parking spaces for cars and HGVs and 13 dock-level loading doors, with two level access doors.

The development, which is located nearby junction 31 of the M62, provides unrivalled commuter links.

Work is expected to start on site this month and is due to completed in October 2015.
