New ABBE Level 4 Thermography Course To Start In March 2015

If you are a practicing architect, building specialist, energy assessor or built environment practitioner, the new ABBE Level 4 Diploma in Built Environment Infrared Thermography from iRed provides enhanced survey qualification.

The new ABBE Level 4 Diploma in Built Environment Infrared Thermography from iRed is an advanced level qualification that enhances the professional portfolio of services and capabilities for existing built environment and energy specialists.

Delivering a high level of robust theoretical and practical knowledge, the multi-module course applies a competency based approach enabling industry professionals to advance into thermography without the need for extensive prior knowledge, understanding or training in thermographic principles.

Tim Mammatt, iRed's Business Development Manager, explained: "The ABBE Level 4 and indeed the ABBE Level 3 course have been specifically designed and developed to support professional advancement into thermography from non-standard routes.

"Our team developed the Level 4 course specifically to meet the requirements of a broad range of certification schemes, including BREEAM, which greatly enhances best value and best practice principles for practitioners and clients across a broad spectrum of the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.

"Importantly, at a time when the costs of thermal imaging equipment is reducing allowing for greater accessibility, it's now more important than ever to demonstrate training qualifications that are fully accredited for application within a commercial environment."

The course takes a multi-assessment approach built around a core of compulsory modules, reports, analysis and examinations. Additional optional modules are available. Qualified practitioners of the ABBE Level 4 Diploma in Built Environment Infrared Thermography will be approved to conduct thermographic surveys suitable for BREEAM credit.

The first course starts from 16 to 20 March 2015.
