£4.5m Development In Staffordshire Nears Completion

A £4.5 million housing development in Leek is expected to be complete next month, March.

The development of 36 new homes is located on the site of the former Horsecroft Farm on Tittesworth Avenue is to be known as Nightingale Gardens.

The project is by Ascent, a joint venture between Your Housing Group and Staffordshire Moorlands Council.

The scheme will include 25 two and three bedroom houses, three bungalows with two bedrooms and eight contemporary one bedroom apartments. Properties will be available for rent, shared ownership and outright sale. As well as new homes built on the site, two existing properties will be refurbished.

Built by Seddon Construction and designed by John McCall Architects, the scheme is part-funded by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) who have invested nearly £8m in total into the Ascent programme.
