The John Lewis Partnership has awarded a contract worth over £6 million to Mitie.

The contract will see Mitie install all mechanical and electrical services in the 250,000 sq ft Birmingham store. The store, which will open in the autumn, is part of the multimillion pound redevelopment of Birmingham New Street station.

Peter Mosley, Managing Director of Mitie's Technical Facilities Management business, said: "Mitie has been delivering great engineering solutions to The John Lewis Partnership for well over a decade. Being awarded such a prestigious project is recognition of the strong relationship we have."
