Shepherd Construction has started building work on a new primary school in Lawley.
Lawley Village Academy is the last in the series 13 of schools procured through the Telford & Wrekin Council's £200m Building Schools for the Future legacy programme.
The new academy is due to open to pupils in January 2016 and will cater for 210 pupils.
Stuart Fanshaw, Construction Director for Shepherd, said: "We are delighted to be starting on site at the new Lawley Village Academy. The new academy signifies a change in the way learning environments are created and Shepherd is proud to be supporting this transformation alongside Telford & Wrekin Council."
