John Lewis has selected ISG to fit-out its new store in Birmingham.
The £15.5m project involves fitting out four floors of retail space at the Grand Central development, which, following a £150m transformation, replaces the former Pallasades shopping centre.
ISG will install raised access floors at first floor level, with the majority of ceramic tiles across the remaining three floors. The contractor will modify the atrium to form an enclosure around the existing staircase and escalators and install new lifts within the building. A major mechanical and electrical installation forms a key element of the programme, including advanced LED lighting and sprinkler systems throughout the department store.
