Laing O'Rourke To Redevelop Office Building

Laing O'Rourke has been appointed to redevelop an office building, Two St Peters Square, on Mosley Street in Manchester.

The contractor has already started work on the project for Mosley Street Ventures which is due to be complete by January 2017.

Two St Peter's Square will comprise of 161,113 sq ft of space within the 11 storey building, have 5,142 sq ft of ground floor leisure space and car parking for 72 vehicles. The investment value of the completed building will be in excess of £80 million.

Mosley Street Ventures Director, Darryl Lee says: "We were impressed with the proposal Laing O'Rourke put forward, they have an excellent reputation and we are looking forward to the start of construction.

"Once the project is completed it will be one of the most prestigious office buildings in Manchester. The building has been designed to complement the changing face of St Peters Square being sympathetic to its history and architecture."
