In an ever competitive world it is important that your business stands out against others within the same industry. With this in mind it is extremely important to establish strong branding for your company through a multitude of different methods and this includes aesthetics of the company building/offices.
We have done some work recently which has involved inserting company logos and company slogans/mission statements into our wet pour safety surfaces. Companies have used these in their entrance, car parks or within the grounds of their offices.
It is easy to see why branding is so important in the world today than any time in the past 100 years! Whereas some products can have a shelf life or go through a life cycle, companies who properly market as a brand will keep on going they outlive products and increase credibility and experience whilst conveying overall quality.
Brands which are successful are undoubtable incredibly valuable. Take a look at some of the biggest brands currently in the world and their worth:-
• Apple – 124.2 Billion
• Microsoft – 63 Billion
• Google – 56.6 Billion
• Coca-Cola – 56.1 Billion
• IBM – 47.9 Billion
• McDonalds – 39.9 Billion
If the above figures do not show you have fundamentally important branding is then we don’t know what will! Branding is basic but it’s also essential for any company wishing to increase their value.
Bolton Wanderers Football Club, are well known for their sponsors Reebok. DCM Surfaces actually installed wet pour safety surfacing in blue at their stadium based in Bolton which heavily focused on this brand. It was clear, concise and yet another way in which Reebok can convey their brand to a specific target audience – these are people who would go and watch the football, so being general would be into sport and what do Reebok do? Sport Related Products!
The point we are trying to make that effective branding can be extremely successful not to mention that it can set you aside from the competition. First impressions count, as competition increases you want to make your customers first impression of your company a memorable one!
