An empty building in Ipswich has been transformed into 55 town centre properties for Suffolk Housing.
The renovation work at Anton House in Grimwade Street was been managed by Iceni Homes, and has seen 35 one-bedroom and 17 two-bedroom flats created over four floors, together with three wheelchair-friendly apartments.
Rob Longfoot, housing services manager with Suffolk Housing, said: "We are incredibly proud of the development at Anton House. It has given an old building a fresh lease of life, while also offering 55 absolutely fantastic town centre flats to local people in housing need.
"We want to attract a good mix of people to the flats and will be actively engaging with them so that we can build a really strong sense of community at Anton House.
"This is a flagship development for Suffolk Housing and we are keen to make it something special – all we need now are the right residents to help us do just that."
