Sovereign Housing Association is to provide 32 homes at a housing development in Swindon.
The first of the homes at Commonhead housing development will be completed in summer 2015.
The new homes include 18 one-bedroom and one two-bedroom apartments, eight two-bedroom houses, four three-bedroom houses and a four-bedroom family home. Two of the three-bedroom homes will be adapted for wheelchair use.
"This is going to be a major development bringing much-needed new homes to the Swindon area; we are delighted that we will be providing the affordable homes in this first phase, and helping to meet the housing needs of the local population," said Sarah Griffin, Sovereign’s Regional Head of Development.
"We already have a strong presence in Swindon and Wiltshire and it is a priority for us to look to bring more high-quality affordable homes to this area."
Eighteen of the homes that Sovereign is providing are being built by Persimmon and 14 by Redrow.
